Housekeeping At Legacurry
Thank-you for volunteering to help keep our church buildings clean. This is a list of what usually needs to be done each week. If you come across any issues which you can’t resolve, could you please contact Susan Campbell by email to susancampbell340@gmail.com
Access to the church & halls – There is a full set of keys reserved for our housekeeping teams so could you please pass these on to someone from the next group on the rota.
CLEANING GUIDELINES
If you find you are unable to carry out a complete clean, please consider cleaning the toilets and perhaps checking if there is something urgent that needs attention.
Main Church Hall
- Vacuum and mop the kitchen, entrance hall and toilets.
- Clean the toilets, wash hand basins and replace toilet rolls.
- Remove any rubbish and brush church main hall floor.
- Vacuum stairs, upstairs room and minor hall.
- Dust and polish as necessary.
In the Church
- Vacuum the carpets and floors including the balcony, choir room, minister’s room, toilets, stairs and vestibule.
- Remove any out-of-date paperwork from the pews or vestibule.
- Dust and polish as necessary.
- Clean the toilets and wash hand basins and replace toilet rolls.
All cleaning materials are located in the store in the foyer in the church hall and in the broom cupboard in the kitchen . Materials for the church building are located in the store just off the choir room.
Your health and safety is important, so please don’t attempt to undertake any tasks which might put you at risk.
