The ladies’ reading group had been going since August 2007 and is simply made up of a group of women who share the love of reading. They meet approximately every six weeks and discuss a book they have all chosen at the previous meeting. It is for all ages. We meet at 7.30pm on a Tuesday evening.

No one is asked to comment on a book, but there isn’t usually any shortage of chat!! We read a huge variety of books and as has been mentioned the book is chosen together. Books read in the past include ‘A Thousand Splendid Suns,’ ‘The Book Thief,’ ‘To Kill a Mocking Bird’ and ‘A Voice in the Wind.’
