This year at Holiday Bible Club we had over 100 different children registered with an average of 80 attending each day with a team of over 30 leaders. Everyone worked together to recover the Bible Artefacts stolen by Mister E, with the investigation led by Detectives Anita Clue and Justin Case. Once an artefact was recovered we heard from an ‘expert’ on its history from the Bible: Joseph and his colourful coat, Moses and his staff, Joshua and his trumpet, Jonah and the big fish and Jesus with a crown of thorns.
We played games, sang lots of praise (with excellent dancing!), made crafts, won quizzes, ate biscuits and learnt the Lord’s Prayer as our memory verse.
Thank you to everyone who came along to join in the fun! Thank you to the leaders who helped make it such a fun week, particularly our junior leaders who got stuck right in. Thanks to the Church family for lifting the kids, their families and the team up in prayer. Thanks and glory to God, who has given us Good News to share!
