The Public Leadership Programme is still open for applications for the next few weeks.

The Public Leader is a 10-month course which has been developed by the Evangelical Alliance to equip emerging Christian leaders to make a significant impact in every area of UK public life. The course is aimed at those in their 20s and 30s who are seeking to follow the Lord in and through their sphere of influence, work and vocation.

We recognise in the current climate that we need to invest in Christian public leaders more than ever and we have adapted our programme and structure to take account of some of the new challenges and opportunities. The course runs from September 2021 to June 2022 and consists of monthly in-person gatherings where we plan to share a meal together with lots of great teaching, discussion and input from inspirational public leaders. We will also have 2 x 24 hour retreats, one in October and one in May 2022 and at three points in the year we will have shared digital sessions with the other public leader cohorts in Scotland, England and Wales as we hear from international speakers. More details can be found here and applications can be made online here

One participant on the course last year commented,

“The Lord has stirred and excited my heart and now I really believe there’s something for me in this space in which culture and faith intersects. This course and your influence will always be a marker for me in this part of my learning.”

We would so appreciate if you would take just five minutes even now to think of a few people who might be interested in this course and forward it on to them.
