CHRISTMAS 2016 AT LEGACURRY

https://vimeo.com/193150134

The infamous words of Ebenezer Scrooge from Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’.

The book goes on to tell how Scrooge is visited in a dream by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future and becomes a changed man.

When we come to the true message of Christmas, it also has a past, present and future as well as its’ own Ebenezer Scrooge. The true message has a Past in that the coming of the Messiah was in fulfilment of prophecies given by God centuries before.

It also had a Present when in real time God entered our world as a baby, born in a stable. And it had a Future. This baby would eventually go to the cross as the Saviour of the world, to save His people from their sins.

The evil one, working through King Herod, was the Bah! Humbug! of the time, but much worse, committing murders to seek to put to death God the Son.

As we explore the true and profound message of Christmas, it has relevance for our own past, present and future.

Come and explore with us this Christmas. Join us at any, or all, of our services. You will be made very welcome!
